The Story Behind the Maps
I started in GIS in 1995 when most Texas counties had never seen a digital map. My first job was building a 7-county E911 addressing system from the ground up — coordinating road naming, address conversions, emergency agencies, telephone companies, and the US Postal Service.
At Stewart Geo Technologies, I developed early GIS land cadastre automation tools using AML, Esri's original scripting language. Those tools became the foundation for Landfolio, a commercial land administration system I co-developed with programmers and helped deliver to government clients internationally.
I later worked internationally with the Stewart International to modernize land registries, including deployments to the US Virgin Islands, Antigua & Barbuda, and Romania.
For more than 15 years, I have worked as a Senior GIS Analyst supporting environmental litigation, developing forensic mapping packages and Python-automated claimant documentation for complex legal and environmental projects.
